Those are great staff names, Jenny! Mine would be Peace and Belonging, as I am on my way to finding both before the end of this year. So glad you have Wisdom and Gracie by your sides. Each of us needs some support from time to time...and sometimes it helps just to know support is there, even if we don't need to lean heavily on it. Blessings, dear friend.
Jenny, I love the way you notice and develop “incidentals” of stories from the sacred text. I’m the brink of a big transition, retirement. So your little words are timely and inspiring.
Cheers for making it all the way to 2000 steps/day! You are on your way, trekking poles in hand.
I’d forgotten that Zechariah named his two staffs. I also have two walking sticks and generally use one when I’m feeling a bit less steady before my walk. Henceforth, they shall be Grace and Peace. 🕊️
I love the name you chose for your trekking poles. You also gave me inspiration to move onto the trekking poles. I named my walker 'Stella' but never named my cane. I am currently using the cane more but don't feel as steady, thus perhaps it is time to move onto the poles. Oh, you offered such positivity this morning. Thank you.
Leaning, leaning, safe and secure!! Thank you, friend! Peace & Belonging. Oh, Ang, what great company with which to walk out of this year and into the next. May it be so!! Love ya!
Thank you, dearest! And yes, what might come to shepherd you through this coming season? I await with anticipation, as I know you do as well! An abundance of love to you!
Oh goodness, I love Stella!! And I'm telling you, friend, these trekking poles (with rubber tips on the end) are doing the trick for me! Circle back around and let me know their names. Love to you!
Janine, looking back over the ways your walker and cane served you, I wonder how you might name them :). Here's to walking in wisdom and grace. Goodness, after 2 hip replacements, here's to simply walking!!
Jenny, I love the names of your trekking poles! I had both hips replaced earlier this year and my walker and cane sure could have used a good name🙂 I have a sign above my front door that says: Choose Grace. That is my mantra. Thank you for the reminder to ponder wisdom and grace as I go about my day.

I’m so sorry to hear about your broken leg, Jenny.
2500 steps for me is one mile (I’m short), so I’d say you are doing great on a leg that is healing!!
Thank you, Shirley!!
